Adjustable Base Plate and U-Head Plate is the important part to adjust the height of the Props. The surface finish is normally galvanized or black.
Scaffold U heads include fixed and adjustable types. They are top-head components of the shoring scaffold system for concrete slabs and beams.
When concrete is placed in wall formwork, the pressure exerted by the fresh concrete tends to force the opposite sides of the formwork apart. The soldiers are prevented from moving apart by use of steel rods called tie rods passing through the concrete to connect the two soldiers together.
