Couplers are the fittings which hold the tubes together. The most common are called scaffold couplers, and there are three basic types: right-angle couplers, putlog couplers and swivel couplers. To join tubes end-to-end joint pins (also called spigots) or sleeve couplers are used.
A revolute joint (also called pin joint or hinge joint) is a one-degree-of-freedom kinematic pair used frequently in mechanisms and machines. The joint constrains the motion of two bodies to pure rotation along a common axis.
Joint Pins For Scaffolding. Joint pins are a fundamental component for constructing safe and stable scaffolding structures. These robust pins are designed for 48.3mm scaffold tubes and facilitate easy connection of tubes either horizontally or vertically.
A pin joint is a connection between two objects that allows only relative rotation about a single axis. All translations as well as rotations about any other axis are prevented - the joint therefore has one degree of freedom
Connection between the frames is carried out by means of pipe horizontal ledgers and diagonal braces featuring - at the ends - holes with diameter appropriate for the insertion of the pins welded on the uprights of the frameworks.
