Solid Base Jacks are used for adjustment on un-even surfaces to create a flat, even scaffold. Our Base Jacks have a safe working load of approximately four tonnes. A base jack is a crucial component in scaffolding, typically located at the bottom of the structure. It is responsible for adjusting and supporting the height of the scaffold, ensuring overall stability and balance.
The primary purpose of a scaffolding base jack is to serve as the foundation of the scaffolding structure. Positioned at the base of vertical scaffold standards or pipes, the base jack provides a stable point of contact with the ground.
This is used in the cuplock modular scaffolding system in conjunction with adaptors. It is capable of bearing heavy weights. Its main function is to hold the bottom position of the vertical member of the cuplock system and facilitate the height adjustment at the bottom level.
